Operation of fabric water absorption tester
The fabric water absorption tester is used to test the water absorption performance of textile materials and is also used for the determination of water absorption rate and water absorption height of medical and sanitary non-woven fabrics.
Shanghai Qianshi Precision Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2012. It focuses on the research and development, design, and production of textile testing instruments, and provides textile testing instruments and services for academic research units and testing institutions. Shanghai Qianshi is currently one of the most competitive R&D textile testing instrument manufacturers in China. The R&D team is composed of a group of experienced engineers. We are committed to serving customers wholeheartedly and striving to promote technological innovation of textile testing instruments.
Applicable standards:
GB/T 22799-2009 "Test method for water absorption of towel products"
ASTM D4772 Standard test method for water absorption of towel fabric surface (water flow test method)
Experimental parameters:
1. Glass funnel: 250ml
2. Flow tube: 100ml
3. Sample angle: 60° to the horizontal
4. Sample rack diameter: Ф155mm
5. Water tray size: 250×190×30mm (L×W×H)
6. Sample rack dimensions: 180*140*200mm
7. Distance between the outlet end of the water pipe and the sample surface: 2 10 mm
8. Distance between the water pipe and the inner side of the outer ring of the clamp: 28mm-32mm
Operation:
1. Connect the connecting wires between the host and the thermostatic water tank, add enough third-level water to the water tank, turn on the power of the host, and the thermostatic water tank starts working.
2. Method A: Add 800mL of grade 3 water to the stainless steel square box for the A method test, and place it on the slide of the large water tank. The water level in the large water tank should not be higher than the upper edge of the square box. When the temperature gauge shows that the temperature is constant at the set value, the experiment can be started. Place the towel sample flat on the support net, slowly place it on the water surface, and press the "timer" button to start timing. When the sample is completely soaked, press the "timer" button again to stop timing and record the required time. Press the "zero" button to reset. Calculate the measured average value of 6 samples.
3. Method B: Pour 50mL (21±1)°C grade 3 water into the funnel, open the valve to pre-wet the pipe, and then wipe the table, tray, and clamp ring.
4. Use a balance to weigh the mass m of the tray before the test.
5. Prepare the sample according to the standard, clamp the sample flatly on the steel ring with a clamp ring, tighten the butterfly nut, and place it on the two fixed columns on the base panel.
6. Measure 50mL of grade 3 water and pour it into the funnel. Turn the solenoid valve switch to the "start" position to open the valve. Start timing after the water flows out. After (25±5)s, take out the water tray and weigh the mass m1. After stopping the timer, press the "reset" button to reset the timer.
