The new avenue of textile industry development: Reclamation

 

Forwarded from the Economic Daily.In the future,recycling will be a important way for the development of the textile industry, it will be more significant for establishing a complete production chain,realizing the industrialization of recycling and reusing ,and achieving a “natural resources-products-consume-recycling”closed cycle economy.

 

It is introduced that there are mainly two sources of the waste textile,one source is the fiber waste material from the textile production,which has been utilized in many areas by the textile manufacture,another way is the garment and home textile which are not used any more in the consumption. The most latest statistics show that the reuse rate of the waste textile are less than 10% in China.If the waste fiber and textile are reused each year, the output can exceed the cottons of the whole country,which can save more than half of the annual output of the Qaqing oil field.

 

As the biggest consumption country of the textile products,our textile industry are limited by the resource shortage,and we have to import much raw materials such as cotton,wool,chemical fiber each year. It is mutual awareness that we should establish a professional production chain as soon as possible,and realize the recycling and reusing industrialization,forming the “natural resources-products-consume-recycling”closed cycle economy,so to provide permanent power for the textile industry.To realize the reclamation of the textile industry, the difficulty lies in the establishment of multi-channel recycling system. For the lack of the relevant policy and standards,our country are still not formalized in the recycling network.Some advanced city like Shanghai,Beijing,are also form the recycling methods which ?adapt to the local characteristics. “To form the scale reclamation as soon as possible,we should utilize the advanced technical equipment so to improve the utilization efficiency” the country lovers suggest that we should promote the creation of the recycling method,such as internet,APP,etc.

 

Summary:We still have far to go to make the reclamation of the waste textile,the difficulty such as the cracking of the social feedback,the construction of the recycling channel,technical research and development,market promotion,direction of public opinion and even law and regulations. For example, the waste textile industry are still not included in  the country supporting area. So far the manufacture chain are still short,not so mature.Because of the low recognition degree of the products and high cost,it is still hard for some leading enterprises to turn the recycling material to the receivable products by the market,though they have overcome the technique problems.Also the consumers are still in doubt on the waste textile products,the acceptance level still need to be increased.
