Oscillatory Abrasion Tester test method

Oscillatory Abrasion Tester is used to determine the abrasion resistance of fabrics when rubbed against a standard abradant or a wire mesh screen with a backward and forward motion over a curved surface. Particularly it’s suitable for?automotive and furniture industry fabric manufacturers working to US standards.

Taber oscillation grinding instrument basic operation:

1. The sample is fixed in the fixed fixture at the bottom of the sand table, the sample surface exposed height of not more than 1mm;

2. Put a uniform depth of standard abrasive media such as quartz sand or alumina in the sand table;

3. Sand table in a specific drive driven before and after the reciprocating movement, thus driving the entire sand table in the wear medium movement;

4. This random scrape pattern of the wear medium simulates the wear and tear of the product in daily life.

Taber oscillation meter test method:

1. Allows the user to use a liquid abrasive slurry for wear and tear testing. Buy the relevant accessories, the user can also lens "Bayer test". The purpose is primarily for comparison with the reference lens.

2. The instrument's test parameters can be adjusted so that the user can choose the length of the back and forth (1,2,3 or 4 inches) and speed (100-200 rounds per minute).
