Automobile interior materials refer to single or laminated composite organic materials used in the parts of the cab and passenger compartment, including seat cushions, seat backs, seat covers, seat belts, headrests, armrests, movable folding roofs, all decorative linings (including door inner guards, front guards, side guards, rear guards, roof linings, etc.), dashboards, glove boxes, indoor shelf boards (including rear window sills), curtains, floor coverings, sun visors, wheel cover covers, engine hood covers, and organic materials used to absorb collision energy during a collision, such as fillers and buffer devices.
GB8410 test method:
Clamp the sample horizontally on a U-shaped bracket, ignite the free end of the sample with a flame of a specified height in a combustion box for 15 seconds, and determine whether the flame on the sample is extinguished, or when it is extinguished, as well as the distance the sample burns and the time it takes to burn that distance.Calculation of burning speed (V):V=60×(L/T)V burning speed, in millimeters per minute (mm/min);L burning distance, in millimeters (mm);T time used to burn distance L, in seconds (s).GB8410 test technical requirements:The burning speed shall not exceed 100mm/min.
