HR-150A Rockwell Hardness Tester

Introduction
The HR-150A Rockwell Hardness Tester is a manual, precision hardness testing instrument designed for reliable and durable operation without electrical control. It measures HRA, HRB, and HRC scales, suitable for a wide range of materials from soft metals to high-hardness alloys, steels, and carbides. Featuring optimized mechanical design, adjustable hydraulic damping, and direct dial reading, it provides accurate hardness values with high efficiency. The tester accommodates specimens up to 170 mm in height and delivers consistent results in production and quality control environments.
Application
HRA: Uses a 60 kg load and a 120° diamond cone indenter pressed into the material. The hardness value is calculated based on the indentation depth. Suitable for very hard materials such as cemented carbide, shallow surface-hardened steel, thin steel sheets, and carbides.
HRB: Uses a 100 kg load and a 1.5875 mm diameter steel ball indenter pressed into the material. The hardness value is calculated based on the indentation depth. Suitable for softer materials such as mild steel, annealed steel, normalized steel, malleable cast iron, brass, bronze, and aluminum alloys.
HRC: Uses a 150 kg load and a 120° diamond cone indenter pressed into the material. The hardness value is calculated based on the indentation depth. Suitable for very hard materials such as quenched and low-temper tempered carbon steel, alloy steel, tool/mold steel, chilled cast iron, and titanium alloys.
