Test Procedures

(1) Mount the footwear using the appropriate toe clamp and secure the heel end to the flexing bar.

(2) Adjust the flexing angle (up to 50°) and set the zero start point.

(3) Set the desired number of cycles on the digital counter.

(4) For wet tests, fill the water container and use the cover to wet the sole of the shoes.

(5) Start the test; the machine will flex the footwear at 140 cycles per minute.

(6) When the predetermined number of cycles is reached, the machine stops automatically.

(7) Inspect the footwear for cracks, adhesive failure, or other defects.
