The Vibration Fiber Fineness Tester operates based on the string vibration principle. By measuring the natural vibration frequency of a fiber with known vibration length and pre-tension, the instrument automatically calculates the linear density (fineness) of a single fiber.

It offers a fineness measurement range of 0.6–40 dtex and performs tests quickly, making it suitable for evaluating fiber mass distribution uniformity, including linear density unevenness.
