Test Procedure

1. Place test object under its own weight into the small parts tester in multiple orientations.
2. If the object fully submerges in the tester, it is classified as a small part.

1. For toys intended for children under 3 years old:
　　a. Remove or detached components during normal use
　　b. Place these components into the small parts tester
　　c. If passes test, classify as small part

• Foam plastic warning:
  　　- Avoid foam packaging for toys under 3 years old due to fragmentation risk
• Decorative elements:
  　　- Attractive but potential small part hazards require special testing
• Plastic edge fragments:
  　　- Cracked edges or test-induced detachment qualify as small parts
• Wooden knots in wooden toys:
  　　- Natural wood knots require mandatory testing
  　　- Sampling inspection recommended due to variable occurrence
• Test scope:
  　　- Includes both normal use and foreseeable misuse scenarios
• Pre-test requirements:
  　　- Define detachable components through disassembly test
