Applicable standards:

DB51/T 2450-2018: General technical specification for polyolefin composite wear-resistant pipes. This standard may put forward specific test methods and requirements for polyolefin composite wear-resistant pipes.

QB/T 5101-2017: Test method for wear resistance of plastic pipes. The standard specifies the testing method of the wear resistance of plastic pipes and is suitable for different types of plastic pipes.

GB/T 2721-2007/ISO 6945:1991: These standards may test the abrasion resistance of the outer coating of rubber hoses and similar hoses for hydraulic hoses and other similar types of hoses with fabric or wire reinforcement and with a smooth and flat surface.


Main parameters:

Swing mechanism: The tester usually uses a sinusoidal motion mode to make the tube reciprocating inclined motion with an Angle of ±22.5 degrees in the axial direction to simulate wear in actual use.

Wear media: Common wear media include quartz sand, etc., and the mortar ratio may be adjusted according to test requirements, such as 1:1 or other required ratios.

Motor frequency and swing frequency: The motor frequency is usually 20Hz, and the swing frequency is 60 times/minute (or other set values) to ensure the consistency and accuracy of the test.

Sample size: Sample size may vary depending on tester model and test requirements. For example, some testers may support tubing with an internal diameter of 5 to 51 mm and a length of 150 mm, depending on the tester's specification or test requirements.

Static pressure application: The tester may be equipped with the function of static pressure application to simulate the pressure environment of the pipe in actual use. The value of the applied static pressure may be adjusted according to the test requirements, such as 50N or 100N.

Cycle setting: The tester usually has the function of cycle setting, which can set the test number from 0 to 999999 times (or other setting range) to meet different test needs.

Other parameters: Other parameters of the tester may include dimensions, weight, power supply, etc. For example, some testers may have an external dimension of 1800×1200×1200mm (or other dimensions) and a weight of 120Kg (or other weight values)。 The power supply is usually AC, and the voltage and current values may vary depending on the tester model.
